Vélorgue

We settle on the saddle and we pedal...

Inspired by the organ, the movement of the pedals drives a mechanism that compresses the air.

The control keyboard allows the Cyclo-phonist to orchestrate a symphony of sounds scattered in space.

Cyclo-aquaphonique

At the first stroke of the pedal, the mechanism comes to life and resonates with a series of underwater flutes that reveal water’s music.

Vél’eau

A bathtub serves as a water reservoir, a bicycle acts as a pump, a paddle wheel drives the sound devices that are activated by the cyclist.

Cycloscopes

Ten or so transformed bicycles become a play area to explore, using a stethoscope. Scratch, scrub, pinch, throw the wheel... Each action allows the users to be immersed in a sound composition that only they can hear.

Cyclo-dynamo

The Cyclo-dynamos use an electro-acoustic device which transforms an electrical signal into sound frequencies. Available in various forms, they can be fixed or free to move about and can be presented in the framework of an interactive workshop.

Vièlo

Based on the principle of the hurdy-gurdy, this Cyclophone uses the movement of the pedals to rub against the strings of the instrument. Turning the handlebars will alter the sound.
